FILM 1101, 1201, AND 1301 ALL GRADE C OR HIGHER; OR TELEVISION, RADIO AND EMERGING MEDIA [TVRA.] 3871 ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE. STUDENTS WHO PASSED FILM 2201 OR TELEVISION, RADIO AND EMERGING MEDIA 4827 GRADE C OR HIGHER CANNOT ENROLL.

4 hours; 3 creditsIntroduction to the fundamentals of documentary production. Thecourse will guide students through the basic three stages of adocumentary project: research and development, production, andpost-production. This course is the same as Television, Radio andEmerging Media 4827.Prerequisite: Film *1101 [1], 1201 [40.1], and 1301 [61]; orTelevision, Radio and Emerging Media 3871 [27.1]; or permissionof the instructor.
