CUNY registration countdown
A live countdown to when Spring 2027 registration opens at your CUNY college, with reminder emails before it does. Free, no sign-in.
Registration opens Friday, November 6 at 9:00 AM ET.
How it works
Pick your college and the clock counts down to the moment its first registration group can enroll, in Eastern time. Every date comes from the college's own calendar or registration page and is listed with its source on the registration dates page.
That date is when the earliest group opens. Your own appointment depends on your credits and student group, so check CUNYfirst (Student Center, Enrollment Dates) for your exact slot. Then add it on your college's registration page and we email you 7 days, 3 days, 1 day and 2 hours before.
Some colleges have not published a Spring 2027 date yet. They show as pending, and the date appears here as soon as the college posts it.
Questions
- When does CUNY registration open for Spring 2027?
- It depends on the college. Each college opens registration on its own schedule, so choose yours above to see its date or the countdown.
- Why is my registration time different from the countdown?
- The countdown shows when the first student group at your college can register. Your own time depends on your credits and group, and is shown in CUNYfirst under Enrollment Dates.
- What should I do before registration opens?
- Pick your classes and a backup for each, check for time conflicts, and look at professor ratings. ChillSemester's schedule builder ranks every valid combination by a stress score.
- What if the class I want is full?
- Seats open up as students change their plans, especially in the first weeks. A seat alert emails you the moment a full section opens.
