PRE: ECON 101 or 103; and MATH 122 or 131 or 141 or 151 or 157. Not open to students with credit for MATH 241.

About this course

The topics covered are descriptive statistics, elementary probability theory, sampling statistical inference, estimation, and simple correlation and regression. (Not open to students with credit for MATH 241, which will be accepted in lieu of ECON 249.)
