About this course

The class constitutes a singing ensemble of men and women. Classsessions operate as rehearsals and require regular attendance. Themusic sung reflects a wide range of styles. Skills are developed inthe following areas: the ability to sing an independent part correctlyand in tune; basic vocal technique; sight-reading of musical notation;diction; and general musicianship. Public performances maybe given. Prior experience is not required, though members are expectedto be able to sing a simple tune correctly.
