This course is designed to provide basic knowledge of neural function at amolecular and cellular level, encompassing neurophysiology and neurochemistry.Key concepts include electrical properties of neurons, propagation of actionpotentials, synaptic transmission, molecular signaling pathways and majorneurotransmitter systems. The course centers of identifying molecular mechanismsunderlying neural processing.
