Basic chemical concepts including atomic theory, the nature of molecules, chemical formula and equations, bonding, gas laws, nuclear chemistry, oxidation-reduction, and acids and bases. (scientific analysis) (required core science) (RLPR). Prerequisite: MTH 020 or appropriate placement. Corequisite: CHM 107.
