About this course
his course will examine the philosophical foundations of Western political thought through a deep examination of ancient thinkers such as Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle. It will consider how they explored such timeless concepts as justice, freedom, community, and democracy. In doing so, we will apply these texts and ideas to contemporary political issues.
