4 hours; 4 creditsA capstone seminar for students in the history and literatureconcentration. Close examination of the methodologies practiced inthe study of history and literature. Focus on approaching literary textsin historical and theoretical contexts. Integration of methodologies andindependent research resulting in a final project intended as thegroundwork for a senior thesis.Prerequisite: English 4113 or permission of the chairperson.
