ENGLISH 1010 IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE. STUDENTS WHO PASSED ENGLISH 3613 OR COMPARATIVE LITERATURE 3613 CANNOT ENROLL IN THIS CLASS.
About this course
4 hours; 4 credits Themes, patterns, and structures of folk literature in literate societies of Europe and Asia from the Middle Ages to the present. Literary application of folklore and legendry. Such narrative forms as the fairy tale, the fable, and fabliaux. CMLT 3613 and ENGL 3613 are the same course. Prerequisite: English 1010 [1] or 1.7.
