About this course

3 hours; 3 credits African-American oral tradition and African-American culture. Survival of the African culture. Oral history, spirituals, folktales, blues, toasts, dozens, etc. Uses of the oral tradition in literature. This course is the same as Africana Studies 3230.Prerequisite: English 1010 [1] or 1.7.
