Prerequisite: VAT 161, VAT 171, MMP 100, or MMA 100 Students must also have an English Proficiency Index of 65+, ESL Accuplacer score of 105+, or completion of ENG 100.5 or ESL 96

About this course

This course offers an introduction to the fundamentals of creating motion graphics and visual effects for a variety of media projects. Students will develop foundation design skills, apply animation principles in time-based visualizations, and illustrate a working knowledge of visual storytelling and industry-standard motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects applications.
