Prerequisite: 3.5 GPA, or MHC, PROV or BSCH Honors Student Groups and COM 1010 or COM 2020 and two 3000-level courses to be chosen from minor course listings for communication studies.

Honors: This course explores conflict resolution in interpersonal communication contexts. Topics include models, theories, causes, and manifestations of conflict; strategies and tactics of conflict resolution, including de-escalation, mediation, and collaborative conflict communication; and factors influencing conflict communication, such as conflict styles, emotions, interests, and goals.
