Methodology
- Source: CUNY's public Global Search class listings, copied slowly and politely into ChillSemester's database throughout the day.
- What is counted: every live class section for Spring 2027 at each college. A section is “open” when CUNY lists it as open; waitlisted and closed sections are not.
- Formats: fully online means the listed instruction mode starts with “Online”; hybrid means it starts with “Hy” (hybrid, HyFlex); everything else is counted as in person. Shares may not sum to exactly 100 because of rounding.
- Registration dates: taken from each college's own published calendar, and shown only when the college published one.
- Limits: this is a count of sections, not students, and a section being open does not mean a seat will last. Confirm everything in CUNYfirst before you register. Not affiliated with CUNY.
