About this course

An in-depth examination of the theoretical foundations of Community Psychology and the principles of action research. Topics covered will include social and environmental risk factors for mental health problems and prevention of mental disorders and social problems through outreach, community empowerment andsocial change. Applications to work in community-based settings with at risk populations will be discussed.
