About this course
This course is designed to introduce students to healthcare delivery in the United States. Students will learn about the history, structure, and challenges of the U.S. healthcare system, including topics such as healthcare providers and professionals, in-patient and out-patient delivery models, financing and reimbursement methods, cost, access, and quality disparities, technology, and health policy. Students will gain knowledge and skills relevant and applicable to careers as health care providers and professionals inhealth services administration, health policy, health economics, health law, health ethics, and health care technology.
