About this course

An interdisciplinary introduction to the histories and lived experiences of Latino communities in New York, including issues such as migration, labor relations, spatial segregation, cultural production and political activism. Using approaches from the social sciences and humanities, students explore how diverse Latino communities have shaped?and been shaped by?the city?s social, economic, and political life.
