A game development foundation class, focused on working in a game engine environment. Students learn the fundamentals of creating cross-platform 2D digital games and interactive experiences using object-oriented programming as well as a variety of other tools and techniques. The course adopts a hands-on approach, delving directly into guided project-based assignments that cover the essential first steps for creating a digital game. For hybrid and online sections, minimum technology requirements are a working camera and microphone. Students are to switch both on at the instructor?s request.
