About this course
This course introduces the student to the roles, functions andresponsibilities of the Practical Nurse in the care of adults withcommon recurring medical/surgical diagnoses. The student will beguided to plan and provide care while integrating relevant conceptsfrom the physiological, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual domains.Clinical experiences will be provided in acute care settings enablingthe student to transfer theory into practice. Pre/Co-requisites: ENGL112 and BIO 104 and NUR 023 and NUR 024 and NUR 025 andNUR 026 and Co-requisite: NUR 027 and NURL 027
