About this course

This course is an introduction to associate degree nursing, with emphasis on the transition from paramedic to Registered Nurse (RN). Students are introduced to the nursing process and learn to formulate nursing diagnoses. Focus is placed on clinical decision-making and the role of the registered nurse within the healthcare system. Lecture and campus laboratory experiences stress the development of fundamental nursing skills
