About this course
This course provides pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and character writing (hiragana, katakana, and elementary kanji) exercises in spoken Japanese. Emphasis is placed primarily on developing speaking and listening skills at the novice low level. The study of Japanese culture and its history are also empphasized.
