About this course
This course will Introduce students to the connection between research and social action through a pressing social justice issue important to them. Students will learn and practice different forms of research both academic and action oriented. The course will emphasize students? autobiographical narratives and how they translate into pathways of inquiry that ultimately fuel the proposal of community-based action research projects. Note: This course is part of the John Jay College Option: Justice Core I Justice and the Individual area.
