About this course

This course is an introduction to the skills, methodology and tools used to digitally fabricate sculpture. Students will use software, 3D printers and lasers to create original works of art. Using this knowledge, students will create three art projects and a research project exploring real world applications of 3D fabrication. Short assignments will be used to reinforce the lessons. Note: This course is part of the John Jay College Option: Communications area of the Gen Ed Program.
