About this course
An introduction to mathematical concepts and techniques used in business and economics. Topics include functions and their graphs (linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic), with an emphasis on modeling and solving business problems. Students will develop analytical and quantitative reasoning skills using algebraic, graphical, and numerical methods. This course also includes a review of algebra topics needed for business precalculus.
