About this course

Loosely defined, Emotional Intelligence (EI) corresponds to individual differences in the understanding, processing, and management of emotions in different aspects of life. These set of skills have been shown to promote success in life as well as overall well-being. This course will introduce undergraduate students the theoretical underpinnings of EI as well as discuss how EI operates in multiple settings, including across the life span.
