About this course

Introduces students to archaeological method and thought through an examination of world prehistory from hominid evolution to the development of complex societies. Critical examinations of global heritage and colonialism sheds lighton the politics of archaeology and the significance of the past in the present. 3 hr./wk.; 3 cr.
