About this course
45 hours; 3 credits Introduction to the history and practice of dramaturgy in Europe and the United States since the eighteenth century. Development of basic dramaturgical skills: selection and analysis of classics and new plays, production research, principles of cutting, collaborative techniques, institutional dramaturgy. This course may be credited towards a CUNY doctoral program.
