About this course
60 hours; 3 creditsAn introduction to methods of manipulating and compositing still and moving images to create visual effects for narrative and commercial cinema. Includes the fundamentals of lay-ering, keying, matting, rotoscoping, and color correcting. Introduces the art and technique of photo-graphing for visual effects, including the use of green screen.Prerequisite: Matriculation in the M.F.A. or permission of the Director.
