PREREQUISITE OR COREQUISITE OF CHEMISTRY 3520 OR BOTH 3521 AND 3522; CHEMISTRY 4571 ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE. NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO ARE ENROLLED IN OR COMPLETED CHEMISTRY 4570.
About this course
4 hours laboratory; 2 creditsAn introduction to laboratory techniques for biochemistry including spectroscopic and chromatographic methods used in the study of biomolecules and their reactions. The course will also include use of specialized software and biotechnology databases. (Not open to students who have completed Chemistry 4570.)Prerequisite or corequisite: Chemistry 3520 or both 3521 and 3522; Chemistry 4571.
