MATRICULATION FOR THE M.F.A. IN ART OR FOR THE M.A. IN ART EDUCATION IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS CLASS.
15 hour recitation, 15 hour lecture, 30 hours laboratory, a minimum of 60 hours independent work; 3 credits Topics vary and reflect the interests of students and faculty. Emphasis on specialized techniques and art media or creative projects not otherwise covered in the regular design curriculum. Students may take this course for credit twice, but may not repeat topics. Prerequisite: matriculation for the M.F.A. in art or for the M.A. in art education or permission of the deputy chairperson.
