About this course

30 hours lecture, 30 hours lab; 3 credits Exploration of the physical and metaphoric dimensions of materials. Examination of how the interaction of painting with multiple materials and media parallels the experience of thinking. This course may be taken for credit up to two times.Prerequisite: matriculation for the M.F.A. in art or for the M.A. in art education; and a minimum of two undergraduate painting courses or permission of the deputy chairperson.
