About this course
Students will explore the principles and frameworks for incorporating multicultural education into K-12 curricula. They will focuson strategies for planning, delivering, and assessing classroom activities and materials designed to support the unique needs ofstudents from a variety of educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. The course will also examine the cultural, social,political, and economic factors that shape teaching in urban environments. This course includes ten (10) hours of fieldwork observation.
