About this course
This field-based capstone course immerses students in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and innovation, providing hands-on experience in launching and growing ventures. Students will work closely with entrepreneurs from diverse NYC communities, addressing challenges such as product and innovation development, marketing, operations, and budgeting to capture entrepreneurial opportunities. The course emphasizes entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, adaptability, and value creation, equipping students to tackle real-world problems while driving both economic and societal impact. Through regular client interactions and practical assignments, students will develop essential entrepreneurial skills, including analytical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and professional communication with attention to the unique dynamics of entrepreneurial ventures.
