About this course

This course provides an overview of the fundamental aspects of the Spanish language, focusing on the description and analysis of its linguistic components. These include the sounds of Spanish (phonetics and phonology), the structure and formation of words (morphology), and sentence structure and word order (syntax). In addition, this course covers other critical topics pertaining to language use (semantics and pragmatics), variation (dialectal and sociolectal varieties), and the evolution of Spanish. Taught in Spanish.
