30 hours plus conference; 3 creditsRole, functions, and responsibilities of the corporate comptroller and treasurer. Relevant modern planning and control techniques and their underlying conceptual philosophy. Design, installation, and implementation of management information systems for planning operations, reporting performance, and administering the firm. Decision-making models, profit planning, and performance analysis. (Not open to students who have completed Economics 704X.)Prerequisite: admission to the accounting specialization or permission of the graduate deputy chairperson.
