Prerequisite: MATH 10100 with a C or better or appropriate Hunter Math Placement score or Accuplacer Test (Math 6) 61 - 120. Prerequisite or Corequisite: ENGL 12000.

About this course

An introduction to applied statistics and statistical computing. Hands-on data analysis. Graphical inference. The five number summary, box plots, scatterplots, normal probability plots. Elementary probability. Statistical estimation and hypothesis testing. Linear regression. Students are expected to analyze real data sets and write reports.
