Excitable membranes and general properties of nerve function; receptors, reflex mechanisms, autonomic nervous system, pathways and integrative properties of the central nervous system; comparison of function in various organisms of muscular, respiratory, cardiovascular, excretory, digestive, salt-water regulatory,temperature regulatory and endocrine mechanisms.
