About this course

This five-week clerkship provides students the experience in the full range of woman?s health issues throughout the reproductive and post-menopausal years are offered, including participation in common gynecological surgical procedures and assisting in labor and delivery. Students learn to provide pre- and post- partum care and family planning as wells. The contextual approach to these disciplines will include integrating basic sciences, anatomy and physiology, embryology, ancillary diagnostics and medical terminology.
