3 hours; 3 creditsCritical examination of various psychotherapeutic approaches and studyof the basic psychological processes involved. A critique of theory andmethod including individual, group, and family therapy. Role of insight inbehavior change. Objectives of treatment. Rationale of such specificpsychotherapeutic techniques as use of interpretation, role of insight inbehavior change, role playing.Prerequisite: Psychology 28 or 2810 [30].
