About this course

The study of the development of mutually beneficial labor relations in private and public sector workplaces. Through coursework, students are introduced to labor relation topics such as management?s rights; daily contract administration issues and worker involvement, including grievances, mediation, arbitration and collective bargaining. Students will be given an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of management and worker views while developing facilitation, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
