About this course
In this course, we will examine influence that live theatre has on contemporary popular storytelling. In each unit of this class, we?ll learn about a different analytical framework that originates in the theatre. We?ll read a play that exemplifies that analytical framework, and will look at work of contemporary storytelling through that analytical lens. The goal of this class is to understand the ways that stories are built and examine the ways in which the theatre has influenced and inspired the most popular storytelling of our time.
