3 hours; 3 creditsAn introductory level course that examines properties of the nervoussystem that underlie psychological processes. A review will be made ofneural anatomy and physiology and the impact of neural chemistry andhormones. Topics include neural systems that mediate sensory andmotor systems, learning, memory, emotions, and disorders.Prerequisite: Psychology 1 or *1000 [1.1] or Biology 31 or 4019 [34]or Health and Nutrition Sciences 2300 [22.71] or Physical Education3271 [22.71].
