About this course
3 hours; 3 creditsA historical overview of the values, institutions, and cultural heritage of Spain from its origins to the mid-twentieth century. Discussions and frequent writing assignments using a variety of approaches and supplementary materials from the Spanish print, broadcast, and electronic media. Field trips to museums and cultural events. May be taken concurrently with or after Spanish 2018, or 2024, or 2030W. Qualifies as a LOTE (Language Other Than English) course for Pathways College Option purposes.Prerequisite: Spanish 1030 or permission of the chairperson.
