A study of oscillation and wave phenomena: simple harmonic motion; damped-driven oscillators; the wave equation; transverse and longitudinal waves; superposition, beats, harmonics; complex numbers/functions and Fourier methods; optical wave phenomena, polarization, interference, diffraction; transmission lines.
