About this course
When we talk about US foreign policy, we often use the words ?the US,? ?the President,? ?the White House,? ?the Administration? interchangeably, as if there were a single rational (we hope) actor at work. In this course, we will examine, including through crisis simulation and role-playing, the complex set of institutions, actors, processes, and politics that shape?as well as distort and constrain?US foreign and national security policy. Open to Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs students; others with Marxe School permission.
