About this course
3 hours; 3 creditsThis course provides an overview of diversity science, a scholarly discipline that considersconceptual, theoretical, and methodological approaches to critically addressing diversity, equity,and inclusion in psychological science. Topics will include how diversity is historically andcontemporaneously conceptualized and examined across multiple sub-disciplines ofpsychology, and the role of diversity science in addressing societal inequities across education,health, and criminal legal systems. This course will also cover the role that diversity plays inindividual and group processes.Prerequisite: PSYC 1000
