About this course
This six-week experience consists of inpatient and ambulatory components to provide students with the opportunity to participate in the evaluation and care of patients with psychiatric disorders. The focus will be on the development of clinical skills, including: conducting a psychiatric interview, documenting and communicating findings to the medical team, clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis, generation of treatment plan, and assessment of psychiatric emergencies.
