About this course

This course provides an introduction to data communications and networkingtechnologies. Topics covered include fundamentals of networks, OSI model,networking protocols, signaling, cables, connectors and networking devices. It willalso cover multiplexing, circuit and packet switching, IP configuration, network design, switching, routing, firewalls, network security and port configuration. This course prepares students to pass the CompTIA Network+ exam.
