Writing and research skills required for professional writers working in public relations, marketing, technical writing, and nonprofit grant- writing, principally in the humanities, but also in business, health, and science. Review of basic grammar, structure and organization of key workplace documents, and research techniques and sources.NOTE: Non-majors/minors who wish to take this course should see an English advisor for permission.PREREQ: Declared English Major/Minor or declared Professional Communications Minor.
