About this course
Explores the historical development of Hip Hop from its origins in the South Bronx in the late 70?s through current times within social and political contexts. The related art forms of break dancing, rapping, turntablism, and graffiti art will be examined in order to show how Hip Hop culture has been used as an agent for social change and development of identity. No previous musical experience in required.
