About this course

(maximum 12 credits).Comparative analysis of utilitarian and non-functional wheel-thrown objects. Contemporary theorization about the nature, motivations for, and uses of ceramic creation. Development of design and technical skills to produce complex objects; series and production techniques; documentation of various clay and glaze tests. PREREQ: ART 207.
